What is shiplap?

Shiplap is milled with a divided groove called a rabbet where the edges join securely together, one on top of the other, leaving a characteristic reveal line between boards. This also gives shiplap its distinctive exterior, with delicate parallel reveals amongst each piece. The rough-hewn design of all natural pine paneling is often used in barns and historic farmhouses.

Innovative design allows screws to be hidden by the lap joint.

Our boutique, Kenzie Home all-natural shiplap wood paneling can be painted or stained and set horizontally, which is most common, or vertically. We also offer Kenzie Home Stained Shiplap Panels in 3 appealing colors.
